Synopsis

Yuri, a modern teenager, is transported to ancient Anatolia as part of a scheme by the evil Nakia, queen of the Hittites. Only the intervention of Nakia's stepson, Prince Kail, saves Yuri from the queen's bloodthirsty intentions. As an unintended consequence of the prince's actions, the people of Anatolia embrace Yuri as the incarnation of the great war goddess Ishtar. Finding herself entangled in the social and political drama of a fractured royal family, Yuri begins to maneuver through their manipulations and learn how to survive while stuck deep in the past.

About The Author

Chie Shinohara is an Aquarius, born on February 15 in Kanagawa Prefecture. Her blood type is O, and her hobbies include driving and golf. Chie Shinohara's debut work, "Akai Densetsu" (Red Legend), was published in the winter issue of Coronet in 1981. The creator won the 32nd Shogakukan Manga Grand Prize for her masterpiece Yami no Purple Eye. Red River won the 46th Shogakukan Manga Award.

Love these! As I write this review, I’m sitting in my recliner with these on. I have had other silicone socks in the past and would like to share a few of the things that I have learned. These fit great! The others were 2-3 sizes too big because you could not order a size. I wear a size 7 women’s shoe. I got the smaller size. I walked around my apartment in my old ones and they got kinda yucky. Now, I sit in my recliner, put them on and chill for a few hours. I now take them off and put in a ziplock bag so they stay nice and clean (no cat hair!). I use them once a week usually on Saturday or Sunday as I’m a working girl. Also, I use Auqaphor before I put them on and put cotton socks on after I’m finished. Your feet will be SO soft. This is not a one and done…I do this every week especially during sandal season! I know this was lengthy and I hope you got some tips.
